Family photos are that much more magical when the mom says, “We want lots and lots of candid photos!!” Well you know I’m all over that; documentary style is my jam!

This Deerfield Beach sunrise family photo session was over a year in the making—we just couldn’t quite get the timing right! And you can tell by the number of beautiful faces in these photos that the Jones family has A LOT going on, so it’s no surprise we struggled to find the time. I’m SO GLAD we made it work; they were wonderfully fun and laid-back to work with and I was able to snag some sweet candid moments.

This family had me at "We only want candid shots."  

When Reina contacted me and said she didn't like posey-posey family photos, I knew our Deerfield Beach sunrise photo shoot was going to be really fun! Add in the fact that while kids are notoriously difficult to photograph, Reina and Zack have the most adorable well-behaved little girls, and it was that much better of an experience! 

Their interaction as a family was so precious (I'm such a sucker for a little girl and her daddy!), whether it was the running hugs, playing with scarves, or "story time" on the blanket; it made running around on my hands and knees in the sand a blast! By the end, my finger was exhausted from hitting that shutter--and hopefully I helped wear the girls out for mommy and daddy, as well! ;)
