Talk about perfect timing; this weddingโTHANK GODโhappened just a couple weeks before the quarantine was put into effectโฆI am SO GLAD this event was not postponed because it was truly a special one!
I was introduced to Angela a handful of years back by a mutual friend. I remember the first time we hung out, we talked about relationships and the type of man sheโd want to marry, one day. At the time, she was fully single and had no clue that her future husband was right there all alongโฆheโs her best friendโs brother!! It took some time and journeying through life individually before the timing was right, but itโs clear their love story was completely meant to be!
I know itโs a looooong way from the February wedding date to post, but thereโs a reason itโs taken me so long; photography has always been my dream to do full-time, but I canโt deny that Iโm EXTREMELY grateful to not be there yet because of the blessing of having had a job as a teacher, which made me an โessential workerโ during the pandemic shutdown. Being a teacher is all-consuming and itโs only now that Iโm getting around to sharing. But I have to say, itโs worth the wait because this wedding had some of the most unique moments Iโve encountered, including the groom giving his vows in American Sign Language (Angela had no clue heโd learned to sign themโnot a dry eye in the house, folks!) and the best man dressing as the bride during the garter retrieval (also not a dry eye in the house from a different type of tears!!).
