// Angela & Stephen \\ The Wanderers Club Wellington Wedding

Talk about perfect timing; this wedding—THANK GOD—happened just a couple weeks before the quarantine was put into effect…I am SO GLAD this event was not postponed because it was truly a special one!

I was introduced to Angela a handful of years back by a mutual friend. I remember the first time we hung out, we talked about relationships and the type of man she’d want to marry, one day. At the time, she was fully single and had no clue that her future husband was right there all along…he’s her best friend’s brother!! It took some time and journeying through life individually before the timing was right, but it’s clear their love story was completely meant to be!

I know it’s a looooong way from the February wedding date to post, but there’s a reason it’s taken me so long; photography has always been my dream to do full-time, but I can’t deny that I’m EXTREMELY grateful to not be there yet because of the blessing of having had a job as a teacher, which made me an “essential worker” during the pandemic shutdown. Being a teacher is all-consuming and it’s only now that I’m getting around to sharing. But I have to say, it’s worth the wait because this wedding had some of the most unique moments I’ve encountered, including the groom giving his vows in American Sign Language (Angela had no clue he’d learned to sign them—not a dry eye in the house, folks!) and the best man dressing as the bride during the garter retrieval (also not a dry eye in the house from a different type of tears!!).

Enjoy some of my favorite shots from the day from Stephen & Angela’s wedding at The Wanderers Club in Wellington, Florida!
